Barley urinated in the backyard today...

So? It means...

that she is finally toilet trained!!

BUT...

She has picked up another bad habit:

biting correction tapes

she has already spoilt 3 of them...

now we have 2 teach her how NOT to bite correction tape...

The Trip to the Museum

Yesterday...

I went on a trip to the Raffles Biodiversity Resource Museum in NUS
on the Nature Explorer programme.

The exhibits were totally AMAZING~!!
The animals looked so alive!
It was my first time seeing preserved animals
and it seemed really extraordinary yet freaky at the same time.
there were a large variety of animals
snakes, octopus, tiger, turtles and even bats

A Snake-obvious~ but what i want to talk a bout is the white pipe under

not trying to be pervertic... but its is actually the penis of the snake

we got to touch the preserved organisms too! (including a gliding squirrel or sth)

For the first time,

I actually feel that what I have been actually learning in textbooks

is something truly existing...

I also found out alot of interesting facts from the guide and the information in the museum

that I never knew

such as that when you see a sponge 'smoking' in the water

it is actually letting out sperms to mate...

This was the first thing in the list of things that we need to do in the programme

there are many more interesting things such as

observing a life cycle of an organism
adopting a tree
going on a nature exploratory trip

I am really looking forward to the others
especially the nature trip
I am going to see all the fungi, insects and even monitor lizards
LIFE BEFORE MY EYES!!
can you believe it?!

现在的心情好郁闷……

上个星期，我的制服又被退回来了……
他们说衣服的尺度不准确。
这已是第四次了……
因为一次又一次的不及格，
爸妈已重作了足足3次了。
现在又得重作，
爸妈应该会发疯吧……
这次，我就打算自己缝。

因为一直忘记，
结果拖到今天才做。
拿起针线和尺
这儿量量，那儿画画，
真是搞得我一个头两个大！
最后还是忍不住
请求爸爸帮忙……
结果引发了现在一系列的烦恼。

爸爸一看到那令人厌恶的制服
立即大发雷霆……
瞪起双眼
跟我要负责人的电话号码。
糟了，一定又要告状了……

爸爸拿着话筒
一句句话如一把把锐利的剑，
刺向电话那头，相信已被他吓得哑口无言的对方。
语气中充满刺耳了火药味。
这下死定了！

虽然说，那些学长对我们制服的要求
实在太过于苛刻……
但看他这样被爸爸斥责，
心中却涌起一股莫名的愧疚感……

怎么说他们也还是学生
处理这类的事情还不那么的熟练。
我这样让我的父亲去责备他们，
他们应该会觉得很丢脸，
很不知所措，很难为情吧。
感觉自己在他们的背后狠狠地捅了一刀……

虽说我们没错，
但是不是有一个更为友善的处理方法呢？
有必要这样撕破脸吗？
现在搞得两边都很难看
以后两方见面，
我该要以怎样的心情面对对方？
这样的事情怎么一直不断地重蹈覆辙？
事情怎么最后总是陷入这种僵局?

人际关系怎么就那么地复杂……？

I really wanted to drill a hole in the ground to hide
when Ms Chia went through the HCL video projects today...
I thought the video that I produced was totally embarrassing~~
it was totally not up to standard at all!!!
I forgot to add alot of things which was supposed to be there
causing the video to turn out really incomplete.
Despite so, frankly, I felt really upset when Kat complained about it...
-abit indignant after putting in so much effort
also because it made me feel really tensed up! STRESSS... I HATE U!!!!!!

I admit that the project really was not managed properly
especially the dividing of the jobs
I should not have put all the work onto my own shoulders
I should have known that it was really beyond my abilities...
But I am always dumb at judging such things at that instant. ~((X_X))~

Fallen brinjal

Today, China students from dong zhou came to our class and we had an hour of a some sort of welcome party to welcome them.
Well, frankly I think our party wasn't really marvellous
as we weren't really very passionate towards them
and presented a what i thought a quite unconcerned powerpoint
on Singapore and our School's history
which I think actually can be presented in a more fun way
like 2L-in the form of a quiz-like game.
Nevertheless, seeing them really reminds me of my past immersion trip
How I wish to be on an immersion again!!
I really loved my previous immersion trip
though due to SOME reasons
I didn't enjoy it to its fullest
but I would never forget the passion of the students there
which to speak truthfully
is a loooong way to go for us...
we were all too shy and cold
But anyway, hope they had a fun time in our lovely school
which hopefully, they know, that cannot be judged just within few hours of getting along. :)
Other than this,
Today was an old typical day that I spent counting down with the clock
-which I wished I could turn the hands and forward to 1.45... XP

We went to Macs today with Xue Chun.

wanted to spend more time together...
but most importantly because......
(drum roll pleeease! for this most wonderful news so far)
I don't have to save for the history discs anymore!!!
I AM FREEEE!!!
WOOOPPPEEE!!!
we talked the whole meal through
which made me truly realised how knowledgeable
Xue Chun who is exactly the same age as me
actually was!! so jealous... :'( (haha)
And just being fairly gossipy...
I saw 2 students from our school behaving immitately in the restaurant!!
that is a girl and a boys of course... (don't imagine it to be some broken mountain...)

(puke....)
Frankly I was quite disgusted
OK it's not because they are behaving immitately
but because they are just sec 2
C'mon don't try to crap about love thinking that you know it... -_-
(oh man I sound so suan...)
HOOOO... think i should calm down...
But okay, I'll just pretend I didn't see that...

Oishii homecooked food!!

Today was Mummy's post call
and fulfilling her promise
she prepared a whole table of her signature dishes!!
BEST of all...
based on the menu that we requested the day before her night duty
and oh man it was unarguably fingers' licking GOOOD
there was prawn with tomato gravy, tumerid potato, stir-fried corn paste with egg, kangkong fried in garlic and spicy fish-which was totally SMOKING and NOSE BLOCKING
it was all my favourite dishes!
especially the kangkong and corn which was the all time favourite of my sis and I
It is just as good as ever that we finished the whole of it
and of course, I was the one who licked off the last of it! XP
Haven't had such a great meal with all the dishes that I liked! (except the prawns of course...)
But the fish was a little too much
go gentler on the chilli powder please mum!!!
you could burn my ass down here...
But nevertheless, that was a marvelous meal
even pa can't help taking a second serving (although he is not supposed to... ;p)
LOVE YOU MUM!! muak! muak!
how can I not say that after you thoroughly conquered my greedy stomach?
Burb! Man am I satisfied...

冲刺着的岁月

2010年了！
又重新开学了！
今天我又重新展开了我全新的校园生活！
现在的我不再是学校里，年级最小的学生了……
以后将会有新的一批学弟学妹从后面仰望着我们的一举一动
这种感觉好奇妙哦！
不久前，我还在那个位置上，抬头望着高大的大姐姐和大哥哥们
现在却有一群人以同样的目光望着我们。
感觉……
有种莫名的责任感，
又有种小小的空虚……
时间怎么过得如此地迅速？
快得我来不及享受当下的一切
就已从指尖偷偷地流失……
还没来得及反应过来，
就已悄悄地从我身边溜走……
让人不知所措。
隐隐地害怕着……
这宝贵又短暂的青春岁月会在我还来不及留下足够的回忆，
就快速地和我擦肩而过……
到时候，这花样时期中留下的空白，
或许会成为人生中一种淡淡的遗憾……
因为缺少了某种精彩而留下的……无法挽回的遗憾。

Barley 又被监禁了
因为它又在家中乱撒尿了
它什么时候才能明白呢？
要是它能听得懂人话那该有多好……
看着它被我们关进笼子里
真的好心疼……
它现在应该很难过吧。
我们这样处置它好像是在虐待小动物哦
感觉好不应该，好内疚哦……
根据网络上的资料
训练狗不应该是这样利用惩罚方式进行的
而是应该用更友善的称赞进行的
我们却这样对吗……？
狗狗好可怜
突然觉得它做我们家的狗好惨哦

现在却被关在门外
搞不清楚情况的它现在一定感到很迷惑吧……

“让”

今天早上吃早餐的时候
妈咪跟我说
美华决定拿那一个我们都不喜欢的日历，
把那个她原本非常喜爱但却也被我同样看上的让给我。
或许是我自己太过敏感了
但我感觉到了她说话时
眼中的那种鄙视
“其实那时美华原本说她拿定那本日历的。
她非常的喜欢”
“但为了你，她牺牲了”
我是应该感动吗？
但我却觉得这几句话分外地刺耳
心中不是滋味到了极点
委屈、酸涩、怒气、愧疚
一起在我的心中翻滚着
这是什么意思嘛！
干嘛要“让”给我啊
谁要你让了！？
喜欢就收着啊
让给我是想怎样？
以为很伟大吗？
这什么年头了
已经不流行把喜欢的东西让来让去了
喜欢就拿啊
让给别人有什么意义
以为被让的人会开心吗？
东西在手上
却被身边的人用异样的眼光望着
好像是我跟你抢似的
这样我看见那个不属于我的日历
只会让我心中格外的不舒服……
当然也有另一种可能
就是看到美华如此的举止
被妈咪心疼
有点小小的嫉妒吧
而自己却沦为了坏人
有些不甘心吧……
可是不管怎样
我就是非常讨厌别人把东西让给我
如果碰巧看上同样的东西
千万不要让给我
我宁愿你激烈得跟我争一场！
“让”对我而言
就等于瞧不起
瞧不起我能光明正大的争取到它
“让”我认为是个很令人……
反感的举动。

3 day 2 nite camp

Just return from my St Johns standard 1 camp yesterday
after days of only 4 hours of sleep
I made an incredible achievement yesterday of sleeping a continuous 12 hours
from 8pm to 8am the next day WOW!
I find it totally unbelieveable
a person who actually finds sleeping a total waste of time
especially when it is a HOLIDAY!!
but sigh... the unbearable tiredness...
made me betrayed my 一贯的principle.
Anyway the camp was a really fabulous one!
OK, frankly, my opinion only made a 180 degrees turn on the last day of it.
turned good at the last minute
Thought I would be jumping in front of my long parted TV the moment I came back
but now when I am back I feel so xian
suddenly feel so free
no one ordering me from place to place
and giving me underiveable time limits
But can someone help me explain this?
am I too used to torment or what
I feel so bored and not used to it after I am free of that 紧凑的步伐 that I was totally struggling with
Hmm what should I do now after having my breakfast??

An EXPEN$IVE DAY

Today is a really tiring and fun Sunday
And most importantly we spent more that $1000 just in this single day!!! 0.0
At the start of the day, at first...
"we shall not go out today and spent family time at home!"
and so it shall be!
Our(my sis and I) mission this morning--wash the car
It's been decades since my father got his car washed
OK... that's abit exaggerating but no better either
the car gets its bath only about once every 6 MONTHS
and thats not because my father wants to
but a BONUS from regular car servicing...
it's just so WIERD...
i thought every man doted on their cars and motorbikes like WIFES
but look at how my dad's treating his!?
it is worst than a SERVANT!
ONE WHO DOESN'T EVEN GET HIS BATHS!!! XP
so it don't even qualify for a lowly servant!
it's just a TOOL
as we concluded.

Anyway, washing a grandis is DEFINITELY NOT fun
puff puff... it was so tiring
then for lunch, we went to peninsula plaza for a meal of DELICIOUS myanmar cuisine
sour leaf and bamboo shoot, corn, pea salad, sour leaf soup, fried chilli
the same old stuff-but there wasn't fish cakes
I DON'T like S'porean fish cakes BUT
myanmar ones... it's a TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY
it's fishy and simply OISHII!!!
After stuffing my blessful tummy, we are OFF to our presents-shopping spree!
NEXT STOP>>Mustafa!
We are supposed to buy some presents back for our relatives in Myanmar
and our job--find presents for my little cousins
but frankly... I can't even remember THEIR LOOKS!!
C'mon barely seen them once...ya...seven years ago--PATHETIC
anyway, I want to buy them something really BOOMZ!
for this four letters we travelled from Mustafa to Marina Square
and finally POOF! 4 presents--mission accomplished!
A wallet for 9 year old cousin
A purse for girly 1 year younger cousin
A bag for puberty-ing dozen years' old cousin
and soft toy for a barely 1 year old childish baby cousin
Hmm never got a chance to understand them, wonder if they will like them
phew! choosing presents for people is really hard, especially people you don't even understand!
Worst when someone throws you a WET BLANKET just after you have excitedly chosen one you thought was simply fantastic, the former pulls your whole smile down with a head shake
Lastly we bought a gift for ourselves too--WII!
My sis requested for it and my father, as she said, FINALLY agreed
Whatever...it's probably good? I profit too!
However-on my face!- my sis didn't want to share it
but seemed to want it ALL TO HERSELF X_X
she said she wanted to install it in her own room,
instead of in the living room for the whole family to share
This request of hers REALLY got on my NERVES urgh!
what is the meaning of that! How can she...!
BUT FORGET IT! just let her be and we'll see how later.. XP
Today we really came home with alot of stuff:
12 batiks, 12 shirts, a bag, a wallet, a bag, a purse, a soft toy, a WII

and not forgetting...A BADLY BURNT POCKET
0_0!! imagine the shocking recipts!
it's definitely more than a $1000!!!
heartache...heartache...heartache...not me! I didn't fork out a single cent! haha

7th Nov, Saturday...
today was the first day after the last day of school
it's my first day of HOLIDAY!!!
supposedly...
however the truth is:
I had to go for Saint John... a Civil Defence course...as it said
OK FINE!
anyway it isn't official training so there shouldn't be any tedious activities
I thought...but,
HAHA dream on--
it wasn't AS TIRED AS normal routine training...
it was 10 times WORST!
imagine running up and down a 6 storey building
cheering at the top of your lungs
OH MY GOD! I thought my lungs was blasting!
and that's not all
+ 7 rounds around the perimeter(and really the outermost and the longest)of the parade square
after running 3 rounds...
muscle cramp, giddiness, tummyache, and OH NO!!
it is coming out---
MY BREAKFAST!!!
I hinted potato, cherry, and Sherah bout it and "o keep on u can do it!"
can't they see that I really can't hold on anymore!?
finally off I go to the washroom
and out comes the jam, bread and chrysanthemum tea... X_X
EEEWW!!
But at least it is the end of the monstrous training and
it was captain's ball time!!
I felt I was half dead when I got home
except for my hyperactive tummy which couldn't stop grumbling all the way back home
PHEW! the training was a total MURDER!!
